Springfield Eco-Industrial Baseline Study, City of Springfield
Department of Planning, Springfield, MA, May, 2001
The City of Springfield identified
commercial and industrial sectors that may provide feedstock for recycling-based

elements. The report identifies remanufacturing, deconstruction, byproduct exchange and
small business opportunities based on an examination of materials flows, and investigates
new eco-industrial business opportunities for a vacant brownfield site in the City.
